How to Transfer to CHI Institute
At CHI Institute we welcome transfer students from other higher education institutions. You may request transfer of credit toward your educational requirements at CHI Institute. We will consider accepting transfer credit for:
- Previous education at an accredited postsecondary institution
- Certification exams relevant to the area of study in which you enroll
- College Level Examination Program (CLEP) credits
- Military training or previous work experience related to your coursework
Prior to the first day of the course in which you enroll, you must complete a Credit for Previous Education, Training, Work Experience (Experiential Learning), or CLEP form and submit official transcripts, course descriptions, and other supporting documentation for consideration. To obtain the required form, contact CHI Institute today.
Transfer of Credit From Another Kaplan Higher Education Institution
If you wish to transfer to CHI Institute from any other Kaplan Higher Education institution, you must submit an official transcript for evaluation. Transfer of credit will be based on:
- Courses for which you have received a grade of "C" or better
- Course descriptions, objectives, or outcomes
- Core/major courses that apply to the program
- Conversions from quarter to semester credit systems, or vice versa, that follow common practices for academic credit conversions
To graduate from CHI Institute, you must complete certain program requirements at our institution. For more information about these requirements, or to apply for transfer of credit, contact an Admissions Representative at CHI Institute.
